Project description
These Network members are co-creating a platform on social media sites. The aim is to offer young people in Pakistan guidance and the necessary skills to build employability. Mariam is responsible for managing the social media aspects and leading the project, Zopash is providing his legal insights during training sessions, and Huda and Sobia are helping lead the project and conducting training workshops, along with other speakers. Yesika is heading up tech matters.
The aim is for the collaboration to be ongoing. All the leaders share an interest in education and employability and have the relevant experience in the area. Yesika, a Thematic Lead for QCT, is playing a vital role in getting the idea off the ground and refining it, getting everyone’s input and expertise along the way.
The outcome
The young leaders report that support from QCT has made it easier for them to identify those with shared interests and to then connect with each other. They say that, through their collaborative work, they’re all sharing and learning. It is a team effort, where every member has a role to play. Overall, the collaboration has allowed the project to gain traction faster than if these young leaders had gone it alone. We will provide an update on the project in due course.
